It's hoped sales will improve on transatlantic flights from Cork via Reykjavik to secure future of route

It comes as WOW air announced it's to suspend the flights from October, just 5 months after the new route launched
A low demand for flights has contributed to the suspension and a final decision on the future of the route is not expected until later this year when the airline decides on it's routes for summer 2018.
Speaking to RedFM News Managing Director at Cork Airport Niall McCarthy says unfortunately the service hasn't performed to it's expectation.
