It's Hoped That The Leaving Cert Format Will Go Ahead This Year As Planned

That's according to the Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald
She says ideally the traditional exam format will go ahead but she says plans need to be laid out well in advance that cater for the worst case scenario.
Concern has already been expressed this year that Leaving Cert students are missing out on school with school closed until at least the end of the month due to the high rate of COVID19 infections across the country.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Sinn Féin Leader Mary Lou McDonald says students and teaches need to know what the Plan B is:
