It's World Water Day Today

We're being urged to remember people in the developing world as we wash our hands today

2.6 billion people don't have something most of us take for granted -- access to clean tap water at home. 

Some have to draw water for drinking, cooking and cleaning from wells and carry it for miles. 

Professor Fiona Regan, head of DCU's Water Institute, says it leads to devastating consequences.
