Jeremy Irons to be made an honourary Corkman
Oscar Winning actor Jeremy Irons will be made an honourary Corkman later this month. The star will be given the title at the Cork Person of the Year Awards to mark his work in restoring Kilcoe castle near Ballydehob. He will also be honoured for promoting the arts and charities in West Cork for over 20 years. The ceremony will take place at the Rochestown Park Hotel on the 17 of January.
