Joanne O'Riordan to hold Disability Rights Meeting in Trinity

Cork Disability rights campaigner Joanne O' Riordan is to hold a Disability Rights Meeting in Dublin's Trinity College this afternoon.
The meeting, which she is holding jointly with her brother - Social Democrat National Executive member Steven O'Riordan, will see 72 disability organisations represented at the meeting.
Joanne O' Riordan from Millstreet was born with a rare medical disability known as Total Amelia, meaning she was born without limbs. She one of seven known people in the world living with this unexplained medical condition.
Speaking to RedFM News as she travelled to Dublin for today's meeting, Joanne claims that people with disabilities are being treated like second class citizens and she's calling for that to end.
