Jobs boost for Cork

25 new jobs have been created by the United Technologies Research Centre
Cork has received a welcome jobs boost today.
25 new jobs have been created by the United Technologies Research Centre based in Penrose Wharf as part their expansion into the field of 'Aerospace' research and development.
It's the first facility of its kind Leeside and it's hoped that predicted growth in Cork's economy, propelled by a raft of upcoming projects such as the events centre, will allow the company to expand further.
Speaking to RedFM News at the announcement Minister for Defence Simon Coveney says the jobs on offer are at the very top end of research which is testament to Cork's talent pool and prosperity:
