Jobs Boost for Cork
400 jobs are expected to be announced in the city in the coming weeks. The Irish Examiner is reporting this morning that Abtran is set to run the new Irish Water call centre for Bord Gais creating the new positions by 2016. The announcement has yet to be confirmed but it's understand to be imminent. Meanwhile - a gluten free bakery in Cork is set to double its workforce following a €175,000 investment. Delicious received the funding from a Cork based investment syndicate along with additional cash from Enterprise Ireland. The company currently employs nine people and is now in a positions to create a further nine new jobs.
