Jobs boost for Cork
20 new jobs have been announced in Cork by financial services company Acorn Life. The jobs will be split between the company's two offices in Fermoy and on the Airport road and are part of a nationwide expansion by the company. It's a good week on the jobs front as 15 new jobs were announced by Little Island-based cyber-security firm Smarttech.ie yesterday... The new technical support jobs will be part of a new 24/7 security operation centre being introduced at the firm. It's hoped the jobs flurry witnessed in Cork last year where almost 2,000 jobs were created can be replicated again this year. Sales director with Acorn Life Keith Butler has been telling RedFM News about the new positions: Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
