John Delaney's Future With The FAI May Be Decided Later Today
A formal decision is likely within the next 24 hours
There are reports the former CEO has offered his resignation to the board.
It follows controversy over his refusal to answer questions at an Oireachtas committee last week about a 100 thousand euro loan he gave the organisation in 2017.
The Minister for Sport says the Government is deeply concerned about the ongoing issues affecting the association.
Shane Ross has warned the FAI it won't get a cent in capital sports funding if its corporate governance isn't in order.
