Judicial Review On Planning Permission For Incinerator In Cork Harbour Won't Begin until 2019

The controversial project was given the green light last May
A judicial review into An Bord Pleanála's decision to grant planing permission for an incinerator in Cork Harbour won't get underway until 2019.
The controversial project was given the green light last May and opponents of the project including residents living in the vicinity of the planned site mounted a massive fundraising campaign to challenge the ruling.
Cork Harbour Alliance For A Safe Environment, who have been campaigning against the incinerator since it was first proposed in 2001, say the site isn't suitable and have raised concerns in relation to public safety.
Speaking to RedFM News Tánaiste Cork's Simon Coveney says he's been very vocal in his opposition to the location of the incinerator but the fate of the project won't be known until February:
