June 2016 Is Hottest Recorded Worldwide

Apparently it's not just Ireland that's been experiencing a heatwave.
Last month was the hottest June ever recorded worldwide, and the 14th straight month that global heat records were broken, scientists say.
They are attributing all of this to greenhouse gas emissions.
Here at home - Met Eireann says yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far with highs of over 30 degrees recorded in parts of Roscommon.
However, the weather is due to break - with rain showers due to continue today.
