Junior Cert Students To Request Extra Exam Time

A group of students will appear before an Oireachtas Committee today to make their case for extra time for Junior Cert English.
The four secondary school girls crafted and submitted a petition calling for an additional 30 minutes for the exam.
It's the first time that the Public Petitions Committee has invited petitioners to appear before it.
Chair Seán Sherlock said the Committee welcomes the fact that the younger generation are actively engaging with the parliament on the issues that matter to them.
