Katy Perry Has Not Heard From Russell Since Split
Katy Perry said that she has not heard from Russell Brand since he sent her a text message saying he wanted a divorce. The couple's marriage ended in December 2011 just 14 months after they tied the knot in India and their split was made legal last year. Katie says Russell is a very smart and magical man and she was in love with him when she married him but said she has not heard from him since he texted her about a divorce. Katy said their hectic work commitments contributed to the failure of the marriage but also said Russell could not cope being married to a strong woman like her.
