Kinsale Kids Kitchen Takeover Proves To Be A Big Hit
Organisers are hopeful that the new initiative rolled out this year will boost the town well into 2020.
A new festival which was set up to inspire and educate children about food culture, "the Kinsale Kids Kitchen Takeover", saw local children work with some of the town's most prestigious chefs and restaurants to learn about food produce, cooking and nutrition.
The festival is now being eyed up by those in the industry here in Cork and across the country.
Ciaran Fitzgerald of the Blue Haven Hotel was one of the organisers and speaking to RedFM News he says the event has been a massive success and all eyes are now on the food industry in Kinsale and the Cork region:
