Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre resident denies abuse reports

A resident at the Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre has moved to deny reports that she abused a manager at the centre who is resigning tomorrow. The site manager claims he is leaving as he is working in an hostile environment and his employer has failed to offer any support despite the issues being raised with Aramark. Up to 10 workers staged a lightning strike yesterday in solidarity with their colleague, the picket was lifted after SIPTU stepped in and both sides agreed to attend conciliation talks at the Labour Relations Commission. Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show this morning, Teresa who has been a resident at the Centre for 10 years, refuted claims that she has been abusive to staff. Click PLAY button to hear.
