Labour's Ivana Bacik Set To Win Dublin Bay South By-Election

A full tally of the constituency shows the Labour candidate topping the poll ahead of Fine Gael's James Geoghegan
Sinn Féin's Lynn Boylan is likely to finish third - significantly behind the top two.
Ivana Bacik's campaign manager Duncan Smith says there's a strong Labour background in the constituency:
"We have counsellors in every ward, we have a good tradition here, and we have a good record here. So there are people who do vote Labour in this constituency and they vote Labour in every part of this constituency, so we had with a solid basis to build on. When you have a candidate as excellent as Ivana Bacik, with a track record as strong as Ivana Bacik, you're in good shape. And we're just thrilled that we managed to have a very professional, positive and vibrant campaign, which looks like it's going to deliver for us."
