Large increase in adults seeking help for eating disorders

There's been an 89% increase in adults seeking help for eating disorders.
Bodywhys has revealed the figures to coincide with Eating Disorders Awareness Week which is running this week.
The organisation says email support requests have also increased by 57% in the past year.
Cork man Ivan Sisk has been battling an eating disorder for the past five years and says often an eating disorder is a silent cry for help.
Speaking to RedFM News he says parents need to be vigilant as early intervention and prevention is the best way to battle the disorder:
