LÉ Eithne to arrive home to Ringaskiddy

It has been at sea for 12 weeks, rescuing migrants in the Mediterranean.

The LÉ Eithne will arrive home to Ringaskiddy this morning.

It has been at sea for 12 weeks, rescuing migrants in the Mediterranean.

It was involved in over 22 operations and saved 3,376 people.

The families of the crew will be at the port this morning to welcome them home, along with Defence Minister Simon Coveney.
