LÉ Róisín rescues over 300 in Mediterranean.
375 migrants have been taken aboard the LÉ Róisín today in two separate rescue missions.
The Irish naval vessel rescued 139 migrants off the Libyan coast and immediately following the first rescue, the LÉ Róisín was re-tasked to assist with the transfer of 236 migrants from an NGO vessel.
The LÉ Róisín left Haulbowline on May 2 to help the Italian Authorities with humanitarian search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean.
