List of Cork events for The Gathering

The Gathering Ireland has today announced details of events that will take place in Cork over the final quarter of the year. Sports, music, theatre, business and community activities are expected to welcome thousands of additional overseas visitors. Kinsale Arts Festival will celebrate all things food, home and hospitality in October. 'Come Home For Your Tea' will run from the 12th to the 13th and will feature special guests from the world of Irish arts and culture debating hot topics. The weekend also coincides with Kinsale's 37th Gourmet Festival. October will also bring the highly anticipated Cork Rebel Week which will focus on "all things Cork". The event which begins on Oct 14th will include sporting events, an economic forum and the novel availability of a Cork Rebel Week Passport to international visitors. In November, the Corona Cork Film Festival will incorporate a mix of big budget pictures, world cinema, innovative independent films, documentaries and short films from all over the globe. The week-long festival, beginning on Nov 10th, will also serve as a major showcase for Irish film production.
