Livestock stolen from a farm in West Cork

The IFA have put up €10,000 reward for information relating to the theft last week.

13 Friesian cattle were stolen from a farm near Church Cross near Skibbereen and the Irish Farmers Association says this is a serious issue for farmer's right across the country causing financial loss as well as stress and trauma.

They are advising farmers to check their sheds and stock and to be wary of any suspicious activity in their area or near their farms.

They are offering the reward to anyone who has information that will lead to the arrest of those involved.

Speaking to RedFM News IFA's West Cork Chairman Corney Buckley says they are determined to get some answers for the farmer involved.
