Local Economy Could Benefit If A New European Labour Authority Is Set Up In Cork

That's according to president of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions Sheila Nunan who is calling on the government to make a bid to bring the agency Leeside
The ELA will be tasked with enforcing labour mobility rules and will have a €50 million budget and 140 staff.
It's understood Cyprus and Slovakia are planning to make a bid to host the agency.
