Locals opposed to a housing development on the site of the Good Shepherd Convent in Sunday’s Well are to fight the proposal through the courts.
Last month, An Bord Pleanála upheld City Hall's planning decision to allow the construction of nearly 200 apartments which locals says will decimate the community.
Residents say the area does not have the infrastructure to cope with the increased traffic volumes as it's already struggling to cope with current volumes
Their legal challenge must be submitted by November 14th.
Speaking to RedFM News Tom Coleman of the Good Shepherd Community Action Group says he believes the development will destroy their community.
