Long delays at the Mercy University Hospital Emergency Department
The hospital says the delays are due to the continuing cyber attack on the HSE
Management are asking anyone who needs non-urgent treatment to contact their GPs or SouthDoc or to attend the Local Injury Unit at Saint Mary's Health Campus in Gurranabraher.
The hospital has implemented it's escalation policy to deal with the high number of people attending the ED and say they regret the delays.
MUH have stressed that the clinical needs of all patients in the Emergency Department are being cared for.
