Long Delays in Cork University Hospital set to continue for Weekend

Management at Cork University Hospital expect the long delays being experienced at the emergency department to continue right across the weekend.
The emergency department at the hospital has been exceptionally busy in recent days, resulting in long delays for patients presenting with minor ailments..
The delays are unusual for this time of the year and are being attributed to an increased number of patients presenting at the hospital and
delayed discharges
Hospital management say they are doing everything possible to minimise the delays but they are requesting that, where appropriate, the public explore all options before attending the A&E unit...
