M28 Steering Group Hope Proposed Alternative Plans Will Get Attention They Deserve

The group were given the green light to mount a judicial review of An Bord Pleanála’s decision to grant permission for the proposed M28
The controversial Cork to Ringaskiddy motorway was give the green light by An Bord Pleanála earlier this year despite strong objections from locals who raised concerns about increased traffic volumes, and air and noise pollution.
Speaking to RedFM News Chair of the M28 Steering Group Ger Harrington says the group are not opposed to development but it has to work for those living in the area of the planned infrastructure:
