MABS secures half a million euro debt write off for 33 Cork people
The Money Advice and Budgeting Services says they have secured a total debt write off of €535,000 for people in Cork so far this year.
In conjunction with the Insolvency Service of Ireland, the Cork branch of MABS says it has helped to relieve 33 people of their debt burden.
It comes as MABS has this week released it top 12 steps to avoiding a financially stressful Christmas.
Speaking to RedFM News Margaret O'Neill of Cork MABS says it's important for people who are financially stressed to know there are solutions:
