Majority Of Calls Made To Childline Come From Boys Aged Between 10-16

Girls are more likely to contact the service online
That's according to the organisation which says they welcome the increase in the number of boys contacting them as historically boys have been reluctant to ask for help.
Childline say demand for the 24-hour national listening service for children and young people is now so high that volunteers are urgently needed in the Cork Unit.
Speaking to RedFM News Caroline O'Sullivan of Childline says its important children have options when it comes to contacting them;
