Man (20s) arrested after spraying petrol on himself and Gardaí in Kildare last night
The man walked into the public office of Newbridge Garda Station at around 9pm and began to spray petrol around the office.
He doused himself and the Gardaí present but was restrained before he managed to light the liquid.
No one was injured in the incident and the man was arrested.
He is currently in hospital receiving a medical assessment.
