Man (20s) charged following city centre burglary
A man in his 20s has been arrested and charged in relation to a burglary at a shop in the city centre yesterday.
A man entered the shop on Maylor Street at around 2:30pm and jumped the counter into a staff area.
He was asked to leave by a staff member and did so after taking a set of earbuds.
Gardaí reviewed the CCTV and a description of the man was circulated to all officers.
He was arrested later that evening on Hanover Street and is due to appear in Cork on July 1st.
