Man (50s) Arrested After Gardaí Raided House In The City Yesterday
Officers from the Divisional Drug Unit and the Armed Support Unit carried out a search at a house in Churchfield at around 11:45am.
They found Diamorphine with a street value of €23,000 and arrested a man at the scene.
He was taken to Mayfield Garda Station and remains in custody this morning.
The raid is part of an intelligence led operation targeting the distribution of drugs in the City Centre.
