Man arrested after Rosscarbery shop robbery
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30s in relation a robbery that occurred at a shop in Rosscarbery on Sunday November 10th.
The incident took place in the Londis in the Square when a man entered the shop and threatened staff.
Shortly after 7.30pm on the evening in question a man entered the shop, armed with what is believed to be a knife, and threatened staff.
The man left the shop after taking some items of stock.
No one was injured during the incident.
As part of the investigation, Gardaí from Clonakilty carried out a search at a house in West Cork today, and arrested a man in his 30s.
He is currently detained at Clonakilty Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
