Man arrested and charged following suspected cannabis seizure in Cork
Gardai have arrested and charged a man after the seizure of €7,000 of suspected cannabis herb in North Cork
Shortly after 9.30am yesterday morning Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit were on routine patrol on Park Road in the town when they stopped and searched a man.
A gear bag was located close by and contained three packages of suspected cannabis herb worth an estimated €7,000.
The man, aged in his late teens, was arrested at the scene and was taken to Mallow Garda Station.
He has since been charged and is due before Mallow District Court on July 6th next.
