Man arrested following drug seizure in Blackpool
Gardaí have arrested a man and seized €1,200 of suspected drugs in Blackpool.
The man aged in his 30s was arrested on Sunday after Gardaí spotted a man who seemed unsteady on his feet.
The man dropped a ziplock bag on the ground as officers approached to check on him.
€1,200 worth of suspected Xanax tablets were found in the bag.
The man has been released from custody and a file will be prepared for the DPP
