Man arrested in connection with a heroin seizure Leeside released without charge

The 23 year old was arrested on Friday evening after Gardai seized €10,000 worth of heroin from his car in Glanmire.
The seizure occurred at Hazelwood Shopping Centre after Gardai approached two occupants of the car who were said to be acting suspiciously.
Gardai carried out a search of the car where they uncovered 70 grams of heroin.
The owner of the vehicle who is believed to be a foreign national was arrested and taken to Mayfield Garda Station for questioning.
He has since been released without charge and Gardai confirmed to RedFM News that they are now preparing a file for the DPP.
