Man charged with murder of Mary O'Keeffe in North Cork further remanded in custody

Michael Leonard of Hillcrest, Glenosheen, Kilmallock, County Limerick appeared at Cork District Court this morning.
Michael Leonard was charged with the murder of 72 year old Mary O'Keeffe last Sunday when he appeared at a special sitting of Fermoy District Court.
The body of the Dromahane woman was discovered inside a burnt out car at a wooded area at Dromdeer East in Doneraile on February 4th.
62 year old Leonard has been in custody at Cork Prison since he was first arrested and appeared at Cork District Court via video link this morning.
Judge Olann Kelleher granted a Garda application to remand Leonard in continuing custody until he appears before the court again on the 26th of this month.
