Man dies following Bantry crash
A man in his early 30s has died following a serious crash in west Cork on Sunday. He was rushed to Bantry General Hospital following a single car collision at Bridge Street in Bantry shortly after 4 o'clock on Sunday morning. His condition was described yesterday as critical. However, he lost his fight for life today and was pronounced dead in hospital at midday. Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. They're appealing for witnesses who were in the area between 3.30am and 5am on Sunday morning to contact them at Bantry Garda Station on 027-20860 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
