Man dies following work accident in Youghal
The incident happened yesterday morning.
A man who sustained serious injuries in an explosion at his workplace outside Youghal yesterday has died
21-year-old Donal Scanlon from Clashmore in County Waterford was badly injured when an oil tank he was working on at a welding firm in Foxhole exploded..
He was airlifted to Cork University Hospital yesterday morning following the incident at B&C Services, but he passed away this afternoon.
The Health and Safety Authority is investigating the cause of the accident
