Man Dies In Limerick Crash
A man has died in a multi-vehicle crash in Limerick.
It happened on the M7 motorway last night at Ballyfinnan Newport - between the junctions for Birdhill and Castletroy - shortly before eight o'clock last evening.
It's understood weather conditions were extremely poor at the time.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will take place.
The southbound lane remains closed in the area to allow a forensic examination of the scene.
