Man Due In Court Over Fatal Stabbing

A man in his thirties is due in court this morning in relation to a fatal stabbing in Waterford.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Gardai were called to New Street in the city where they discovered that a 28-year-old man had been stabbed. He was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A 35-year-old man was arrested nearby, and questioned under Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act.
He's due to appear before Waterford District Court at 10:30 this morning.
