Man found guilty of murder in Cork

The 41-year-old said he never meant to kill the man he stabbed.

A drug addict has been found guilty of murdering his friend during a row over heroin at a house in Cork in May 2012.

41-year-old Peter Jackson of Kerryhall Road, Fairhill, admitted stabbing David Hamilton but said he never meant to kill him.

The jury returned with the guilty verdict after almost ten hours of deliberations.
