Man impersonating Garda apprehended
A man impersonating a Garda was apprehended when he signalled a car to pull over that was being driven by plain clothed officers.
The man was using blue lights as a make-shift check point in the Baldoyle area of north Dublin yesterday.
The car was searched and a number of counterfeit items were seized, including a fake Garda badge.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
