Man In Late 30s Has Died Following Crash Near Ballincurrig

Gardai have confirmed to Red FM news that a man in his late 30s has died following a crash between a van and a tractor near Ballincurrig on the Liscarroll Rd .

The man who died and the two teenagers who were injured are all believed to have been travelling in a van.
The driver of the tractor was uninjured in the incident.
The crash happened on the R522 regional road at Ballincurrig between Buttevant and Liscarroll in north Cork at around 1pm this afternoon.
An Air Corps air ambulance helicopter and crew joined Gardai, the fire service and ambulance paramedics at the scene.
The R522 between Buttevant and Liscaroll is likely to remain closed for several hours and diversions are in place by Corkery's pub Millstreet.
