Man killed in Co.Louth crash
Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Co. Louth overnight, in which a man in his 30s was killed.
The collision, between a car and lorry, happened at around 5am on the M1 southbound at Dundalk, between junctions 17 and 16.
A man in his early 40s, who was driving the lorry, was uninjured and has since been arrested.
The road remains closed to allow a forensic examination of the scene take place and diversions are in place.
