Man remanded on bail following major drug seizure in North Cork

41 year old Kieran McCann was one of three people arrested in Kanturk on Friday.
Gardai stopped and searched their car uncovering seven kilos of cannabis resin worth €140,000 euro.
He was brought before a special sitting of Mallow District Court yesterday and charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis herb.
Gardai did not object to his bail under the circumstances that he sign on three times a week at Kanturk Garda Station and abide by a 10pm to 6am curfew.
Meanwhile a man in his 30's with an address in Kanturk and a woman in her 40's with an address in the greater Kilarney area were charged at Mallow Garda Station and realeased on bail.
All three are due to appear before Mallow District Court on Tuesday morning.
