Man Stabbed in Mahon
An investigation is underway after a 26-year old man was stabbed in Mahon this morning. He was attacked in a house around 2 o'clock and was rushed to Cork University Hospital with a number of stab wounds. He was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries. Gardai arrested a 27 year old man living in the area for questioning. They also recovered a knife believed to have been used in the attack.
