Man To Appear Before Bandon District Court Today In Connection With A Domestic Abuse Investigation

He will appear before the courts this afternoon
The investigation arises from complaints made by a person known to the man regarding multiple incidents which took place over a period of time, spanning from 1985 until 2019.
Gardai arrested the man in his 50s yesterday morning following a search operation at a home in Kilbrittain, during which a number of legally held firearms and ammunition were seized.
The man was arrested and taken to Bandon Garda Station, and is due to appear before Bandon District Court at 3pm this afternoon.
