Mandela "serious but stable"
The latest update on Nelson Mandela's condition is that he remains "serious but stable." The former South African president was admitted to hospital four days ago with a lung infection. A government statement says that President Jacob Zuma is satisfied that the medical team treating the 94-year-old is doing all they can to improve his health.
