Marijuana becoming addictive problem for many Cork teenagers

Marijuana is becoming an addictive problem for many teenagers in Cork. That's according to a Cork based addiction counsellor who says the substance often ranks higher as a problem than alcohol for those receiving treatment. It comes amid reports that prescription drugs are being misused in Cork, in particular uppers and downers meanwhile, often known as smarties. It's believed the drugs which are used to treat illnesses are also fast becoming one the most popular party drugs on the market in Cork.
