Marymount Hospice brews up a coffee storm in Cork

Patients suffering from cancer say Marymount Hospice's community palliative care service has allowed them spend more time with their loved ones. The service is just one offered by the hospice which also includes in and outpatient care along with day care and a new specialist pain clinic. The Bewley's coffee mornings that are taking place right across Cork today all help to keep these services on the road as €2 million euro is needed every year to maintain the level of care provided by Marymount. AUDIO: Speaking to RedFM News Clinical Nurse Cathy O'Leary who is specialist community palliative care nurse based in North Cork says the service is essential for patients: Click the PLAY button above to hear.
